Insurance Verification

Check if your insurance covers neuromuscular massage. If a medical referral, X-rays, MRIs, or other documentation are needed, request them from your doctor to be faxed to BHC. If you don’t have a referral, we can provide one.

Approval Confirmation 

Our office will call to confirm insurance approval. Once approved, we will contact you by phone to schedule your appointments.

Before the Massage

Remember that this massage is more medical than relaxing. Upon arrival, you will complete a detailed health intake form if it's your first visit. We will discuss the techniques to be used and conduct tests to plan effective sessions. It’s important to stay hydrated before your massage.

Medical Documentation 

and Follow-Up

After the session, the therapist will take detailed medical notes, which will be sent to your attorney, doctor, or insurance as needed. Regular follow-ups will be conducted to ensure the goals are met and to adjust the treatment plan as necessary.

Home Care and Recommendations

You will receive specific recommendations for home care, such as staying well-hydrated and resting to enhance the benefits of the treatment. If you experience extreme pain, stop any activities immediately, call 911 if necessary, and inform your therapist.
